1. cibo.com Tuesday, December 16, 2008 @ 2:52:00 AM
As a musician who formerly performed this venue, my comments regarding food and service are based solely on word of mouth. However, it is common knowledge that Cibo ranks very high and is among the best in the Monterey Bay area. The "mise en scene" caters to a slightly older, but upscale clientele that mirrors the musicians they hire - now it's my turn lol
Performing this venue is synonymous for musical excellence. Its elongated list of alumni is comprised of highly skilled "JAZZ" and "FUSION JAZZ" musicians who have graced the band platform well before it was named - CIBO. Speaking of "band platform," my only beef concerns its bantam proportion that applies to the dance floor as well. However, gripes regarding diminutive bandstands, cramped dance floors, and deformed acoustics are all too common amongst the musician community.
Contrary to its reputation; this club is NOT exclusive to yuppies in their 50's as depicted by many. You will find age groups in the mid-20 bracket whose vernacular is anything but sophisticated - no wat im sayin, dog?
All in all - a great place in terms of food and service, and is one of the very few venues in Monterey that hire "REAL" musicians.

2. crazyhorse-sf.com Tuesday, December 16, 2008 @ 1:09:00 AM
The Crazy Horse gentleman's club on Market & 6th in downtown San Francisco is the premier strip club that offers what avid hobbyists refer to as ===> "HIGH MILEAGE" lap dances.
As opposed to alcohol clubs such as the Gold Club, Hustlers, Broadway Showgirls, etc, the presence of a brigade of suited security guards scrutinizing your every move is non-existent. The Club itself is not as lavish as the aforementioned alcohol clubs. However, just like a gym loaded with HEAVY steel plates, squat rack, and deadlift area WITHOUT the addition of a swimming pool, sauna, and all the other dainty little features; the CH is heralded for PERFORMANCE.
If variety is important, the Horse has a lineup of many different ethnicities, but with an emphasis on the Asian variety. Overall, the best club in SF if "extras" aren't a primary concern. I say check it out!!!

3. eharmony.com Tuesday, December 16, 2008 @ 12:10:00 AM
I've always questioned the veracity of eharmony.com despite all the hyped-up TV commercials. But based on the previous reviews, it seems to be the Real Deal - if you're seeking an overweight slob or midget lol.
However, the fact that REAL people are involved instead of fake profiles and Internet BOTS warrants at least a 4 on the rating scale...

LOL...ROTFLOL...RB (Myredbook) is a great website for improving one's grammar and flaming skills - if not anything else...lol
Besides improving proficiency in grammar and "useless flames," it contains vast info on strippers, escorts, and an amalgamation of women in the sex industry. Just like any other open discussion board; the presence of Multi-Handle users cannot be avoided. Out of all the sex oriented sites, RB is the most hilarious with Fling a close second lol

5. yelp.com Monday, December 15, 2008 @ 7:00:00 PM
Yelp is a great website for obtaining info on a profusion of businesses ranging from fast food to strip clubs. However, like many open discussion boards; there is a high influx of people registering multiple accounts while posting several reviews with differing opinions on the same venue. Hence; a reviewer that has a plethoric number of friends and accolades is most likely a multi-account user...

Notwithstanding all the hype regarding the authenticity of this dating site, it remains in the same genre as all the other fictitious scam rackets...

7. amateurmatch.com Monday, December 15, 2008 @ 8:53:00 AM
I concur with the previous 2 reviewers in regards to this site. Phony and dishonest are the operative words here.
As I stated on other reviews regarding "intentional" faulty grammar and the EXCESSIVE use of the word "your" in incorrect context; here's a copy of one of the many messages I received on my AmateurMatch account:
"I see that "your" in my area. Depending on what your status is, if "your" taken or not maybe we can meet in the chat room or if you have yahoo that would be better. Hit me up if "your" interested. Are you comfortable in exchanging phone numbers? That would be the best. Hope you had a great weekend and hope to hear from you soon."
Case closed.
Thanks, Eddie/Elvis

8. fling.com Sunday, December 14, 2008 @ 3:22:00 PM
The primary reason I "temporarily" joined this site was out of curiosity. Upon examining a few profiles, I "immediately" noticed similar writing patterns and traits that I've experienced on a particular discussion forum dedicated to San Francisco strip clubs. The excessive misuse of the word "your" when it should have been spelled as "you're" was most amusing.
Even more so were the profiles which contained such grossly inept grammar; one can only notice an air of premeditation. Another factor that enters the equation is the use of Internet robots (or what is commonly known as BOTS) that are designed to engage in live commentary with the many delusional males that fall victim to this method of madness.
Despite all that was said, these websites are very humorous and the person(s) behind all the fake profiles is more than likely - a person capable of Shakespearean level writing skill as well as the jocosity talents of a professional comedian...

9. mate1.com Sunday, December 14, 2008 @ 2:44:00 PM
LOL...ROTFLOL…it’s difficult for me to convey in a mere sentence or two my opinions in regards to ALL of the "so-called" dating websites – Mate1 included.lol
In a realm that is susceptible to duplicitous and apocryphal activity, one cannot elude Internet trolls, spammers, and scammers notwithstanding claims of authenticity by certain individuals.
One telltale clue that unravels the fraudulent overtones on any given profile (female profiles especially) is the intentional use of faulty grammar, syntax, and use of certain words in incorrect context (i.e. "your" instead of "you're"). However, correct writing form does NOT exempt this genre of website from being anything but bogus. Not just my opinion; it's also my personal experience on "various" websites and discussion forums.
