I do not recommend shopping with UTSAV at all. This is the first time I have ordered with them and have yet to receive my package still so I cannot comment on the quality of their product just yet. However dealing with them has been terrible and even if you have to pay some extra money to get an outfit if you’re living outside of India like myself (I live in Canada), I suggest you go with that.
My order was to be shipped out within 30 working days, it has been over 2 months now and I do not have it. They never email you themselves to let you know of delays, you constantly have to email them and be on their back. I have up till now got replies from them within a few days and have not been ignored just yet but I have a feeling that will change soon. Each time they would just apologize for the delay and tell me another 9-10 days, another 5-7 days, another 3-4 days etc. without any results. Then they email me and tell my outfit had been passed on to quality control/review before being sent out and they found a measurement/tailor error so they sent it back. I wait, I email, I get some reply telling me another x amount of days. After inquiring again I get told that my outfit is 45 inches long and not the length I specified in my measurements, that 45 inches is actually the correct length for my height and not the one I submitted, the outfit cannot be cut/changed from anywhere and if I still feel this length is not correct then to chose another outfit from their website! I figured if I chose another outfit, God knows when I’d receive it considering what I had experienced so far, the 45 inches seemed doable still to me and if anything I’d get it altered when I received it just ’cause I had had enough with them and just wanted to actually get my outfit.
I let them know, have to deal with sending emails again a few times over the weeks to inquire when it will be sent out, they email back with their usual apologies and another x amount of days. Finally, in one response I am told it will be sent out that day and I will receive tracking details within 48 hours. It has been more than 48 hours, I do not have tracking details or a number, my order status still shows it to be in progress rather than shipped out, and I have sent 1 email and 2 emails today with no reply.
Bottom line: NOT WORTH IT, and an absolute headache, especially for people who live in the west and aren’t use to and nor want to put up with all this haggling and running after the company when it is the client that should be the priority.
IF a UTSAV person is reading this and somehow you want to save some face, my order number is UT364585, any help and proper customer service would be appreciated and I will in fact let others know here if there is a change in what I experience.
